League Fact Sheet

The Sunbelt Basketball Association (SBA) is a minor professional basketball league founded in 2023 in Sarasota, Florida. The league develops overlooked D2, D3, and JUCO athletes — players who may not get NBA or G League chances — through FIBA-rules competition, the Elam Ending, and a year-round developmental pipeline (SBA Combine evaluation, the PROS Program taught by former pros, FIBA-style immersion, and verified Athlete Rated film and analytics) preparing players for overseas and G League opportunities. Through SBA Play 90 and community partnerships, the league runs youth clinics and outreach across its team markets.
